A Little Engineering Guidance Can Go a Long Way.

You don’t always need a full engineering engagement to take the next step. Sometimes you need an expert to look at your design, help you think through a problem, or point you in the right direction.

Design Office Hours gives inventors, entrepreneurs, product teams, and local businesses an opportunity to speak directly with the InterLink team about questions such as:

  • Is my product idea mechanically feasible?

  • How can I improve this design before prototyping?

  • Why is this component failing or difficult to manufacture?

  • Which materials or manufacturing processes should I consider?

  • How can I reduce part count, complexity, or production cost?

  • What should I prepare before working with an engineering firm?

  • How do I move from a concept or prototype toward manufacturing?

Bring sketches, CAD files, photos, prototypes, or simply an idea you’d like to talk through.

Design Office Hours takes place at our Phoenix office on the third Thursday of each month from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. No appointment is necessary.

Is Design Office Hours really free?

Yes. There is no charge to attend and no obligation to begin a project with InterLink Engineering.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Design Office Hours is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If several people attend, you may need to wait briefly before meeting with an engineer.

What should I bring?

Bring anything that will help explain your idea or challenge, including sketches, drawings, CAD files, photographs, sample parts, or prototypes. If you only have an idea, that’s fine too.

What if my project needs more in-depth help?

If your project requires additional analysis, design work, or engineering support, we can explain the available options and help you determine an appropriate next step.
